Golden House opened in 1999 in Hilltop Plaza on Troy-Schenectady Road in Watervliet, and we've been cooking for the same Capital Region neighbors ever since. We're a small, family-run takeout, the kind of place where regulars order by number and we start the wok before they finish the sentence.

The menu is built on the American-Chinese classics done honestly: Sesame and General Tso's Chicken made to order, lo mein and fried rice tossed in a hot wok, and a long list of chef specials for when you want something a little different. Our lunch specials, served with onion fried rice and free soup, an egg roll, or a soda, have been a Watervliet habit for 27 years.

We cook for pickup and local delivery. No extra App to download, no middleman markup. Just call and we'll have it ready. If you have a food allergy, tell us when you order and we'll do our best to help.
